This online casino must be kidding!

I was busy going through another casino blog today and came across this little gem of an article. It says that a well known online casino wants to sue a 6 month old baby for debt incurred while playing the Midlife Crisis online slots game. Apparently the little tyke ran up a $16,587 bill...

The parents were rightly “appalled and disgusted” that the online casino in question sent a formal complaint and must have been livered when told they must pay up or legal action will be pursued “to the fullest extent of the law”. To add insult to injury they (the parents) don’t even gamble online!!!

I must admit... Words escape me on this one... How on earth could a supposedly well known casino get it so wrong? Here at JackpotCity.com we have strict processes and procedures when it comes to opening a new casino account. How this took place needs to be investigated and steps need to be taken to prevent it happening again. The casino in question should be looking at its own internal processes and not trying to prosecute a 6 month year old baby. To prosecute the family without an investigation into this would be in a word, childish!
